This term we're learning
about where we came from (or who we came from!)
and what life is all about

Every day we're bombarded by competing world views...how we see ourselves, others and the world around us! And how we see shapes how we live!
John Lennox, a Christian writer and thinker says, "The book of Genesis is foundational for the rest of the Bible. Its opening chapter does something of incalculable importance: it lays down the basis of a biblical worldview. It gives to us humans...a big story into which our lives can be fitted and from which they can derive meaning, purpose, and value." We'd love you to read Genesis with us and discover its worldview and the big story into which your life fits, and in which you can find meaning, purpose, and value! |

Genesis has so much to say to us! And so to help us think about it thorugh the week (and also to save the teaching on Sunday being really long) we'll be using our daily devotions to think further about some of the stuff we talked about on sunday and sone of the stuff we didn't get to talk about.
Each week, Monday to Friday, there'll be a devotion on Facebook to read or watch - there's a text, a thought and a "therefore..." There will also be a key verse to remember and a relevant worship song to rejoice in. Click on the image to the right to access the devotions so far |

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. GENESIS 1:31-2:2 The Bible Project has a vast array of resources to explore Genesis videos, articles, podcasts and hours of free Bible teaching in a classroom setting that you can follow at your own pace |
